Job Summary
The Corporate Legal Assistant, under the direction of the In-House Counsel, will support our sales and legal teams with contract administration and review in a fast-aced environment. The Legal Assistant position will play an integral role in supporting the company's contract lifecycl, preparing, reviewing and organizing commercial contracts.

Job Duties
- Review contracts, including vendor agreements, service and cusomter agreements, proofreading for typographical errors, formatting consistency, and accurate referencing of clauses.
- Assist legal team in management of contracting workflow with customers and prospects, communicate with internal team and external parties by email/phone/video, and help to ensure contract requests are addressed in a timely manner.
- Support legal and sales team in service as one-stop resource for contract requirements and business terms.
- Coordinate with cross-functional terms during all stages of the contract process, from RFP to negotiation to post-execution contract maintenance.
- Drive proper document retention by reviewing and summarizing key terms in completed contracts and utilizing the internal contract retention tool.
- Review proposed modifications and markup to standard and non-standard contracts, and provide summaries of any proposed redlines.
- Conduct research on specific provisions as needed.
- Develop and maintain contract templates and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain contract records and documentation in the company's CRM and Cloud.
- Identify opportunities to improve contract processes and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Legal Management or any related education required
- 2+ years' experience in contract administration or related field required
- Strong understanding of basic contract law and contracting principles
- Strong calendaring, organizational, and multitasking skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets)
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization and demonstrate a team-oriented work style
