Your Mission We are looking for a Corporate Development & Strategy Senior Associate to join the Strategy and Corporate Development team at BlaBlaCar. As Corporate Development & Strategy Senior Associate, you will work directly with BlaBlaCar’s executives to support their strategic decision-making. This means you will impact the direction BlaBlaCar is taking for the years to come! Your Responsibilities • Support C-level in the definition of BlaBlaCar’s strategy (e.g. preparation of long-term business plan, market studies, deep-dive analysis of specific business lines, etc.) • Communicate the strategy to our Board of Directors and Investors (e.g. prepare Board decks, ad hoc strategic updates on specific topics, etc.) • Contribute to M&A sourcing and execution (whole acquisition process from target identification to due diligence) • Contribute to all funding-related projects (equity, debt) • Lead ad-hoc cross functional analyses for our C-level (e.g. support Business and Product teams on ad hoc projects, etc.) In this role, you’ll be at the center of everything strategic at BlaBlaCar, with frequent work sessions with CFO, CEO and other C-level Your Qualifications • Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics with +5 years of professional experience in Strategy and Corporate Development (investment banking, private equity, financial advisory, M&A department of corporates) • Excellent communication skills: experience in synthesizing and communicating data clearly • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to think strategically and “outside the box” • Excellent modeling skills • Fluent in English • Experience in Tech and/or in a scale-up environment is a plusYou identify with BlaBlaCar’s values: humility, collaboration and teamwork What we have to offer • Hybrid status for this role : 2-3 days at the Office • 4 additional weeks on top of legal maternity/paternity leaves • 50% healthcare coverage (Alan) • Financial support for home office equipment • Minimum 25 days holiday per year  • Local meal plan policy (Swile card) • 50% transportation paid (Forfait Mobilité Durable) • Free unlimited carpooling & bus rides • Personal growth via trainings, mentorship, and internal mobility programs • Employee Stock ownership plan • Regular team building events • 1 day off per year to test our product • 1 day per year for social engagements with non-profits Interested in joining the ride? • a 45-min video-call with Amélia, our Talent Acquisition Manager, to get to know you, understand your career expectations, and answer your first questions • a 60-min video-call with your future manager, Jacques Roy, CorpDev & Strategy Manager, to get to know you, present you the team and go through a short case study • a fully remote exercise to evaluate your technical skills (3-4 days of preparation) • a 60-min video-call with Jacques, Pierre-Antoine Vertray (CFO) and Coline Lembach (CorpDev & Strategy Associate) to present your exercise and discuss it • a 30-min video-call with Pierre-Antoine Vertray (CFO) Usually, our hiring process lasts on average 20-25 days and offers usually come within 48 hours.
