Corporate Development Manager - LATAM

Ebury Mexico City Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week

Ebury has designated LATAM as a primary growth pillar, with an immediate strategic focus on the Andean Region. To deliver on this mandate, we require a dedicated Corporate Development Manager with deep expertise at the intersection of Fintech and regulation.

The complexity of these specific markets demands a lead capable of launching and scaling operations in high-barrier environments. This role is critical to mitigating regulatory risk and accelerating our time-to-market, ensuring Ebury successfully converts its regional expansion strategy into operational revenue.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the definition and execution of the roadmap for launching and scaling Ebury in LATAM (specifically Argentina, Colombia, or Peru), providing qualitative analysis to support the broader Americas corporate strategy.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory Expansion, Legal, and Compliance teams to lead regulator relationships and work with external partners to ensure compliant operations in complex environments.
  • Navigate the intersection of Fintech and local regulation, managing critical relationships to secure licenses and operational stability across the region.
  • Manage end-to-end projects focused on delivering both organic and inorganic growth (M&A/Partnerships) across the Americas region.
  • Bridge the gap between global strategy and local execution by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver key strategic projects and scale operations rapidly.
  • Analyze regional data and market trends to propose innovative ideas that adapt Ebury’s product suite to the LATAM financial ecosystem and drive continuous growth.
  • Continuously evaluate the impact of your initiatives, using performance insights to adapt plans and pivot strategies in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.

What you’ll need

  • Degree in Economics, Business Management, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-6 years in Management Consulting, Corporate Development, or Strategic roles within Fintech or Financial Services.
  • Proven track record in the LATAM region with deep, hands-on experience in the Fintech ecosystem and regulatory environments—specific experience in Colombia and/or Peru is highly prioritized.
  • Solid experience in launching and scaling operations in complex markets; specific experience in Payments, Lending, or FX is a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate high-pressure regulatory environments and ambiguity.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for financial modeling and executivelevel storytelling.
  • Full professional fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory. Portuguese is a plus.

Personal Characteristics:

  • Enthusiastic and motivated
  • Interest in the burgeoning FinTech scene
  • Demonstrated organisational and project management skills
  • Pragmatic thinking coupled with a can-do attitude
