Location: North Vancouver, B.C.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, between office and home
Pay Range: $44,700 - $55,100; pay is determined by factors such as program of study, year of study, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
Duration: Four (4) months, May 4, 2026 – August 21, 2026
Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
The Core Retail Operations Co-Op Student will support a cross-functional team responsible for the day-to-day operational execution of retail stores. This role provides hands-on exposure to retail operations, commercial and merchandising support, stakeholder collaboration, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. The student will assist with short-term operational planning, communications, reporting, and store support while gaining valuable in-store experience to better understand store needs and operational priorities.
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
Meet Your Future Team:
The Core Retail Operations supports retail stores by driving day-to-day operational execution and resolving store-level needs through strong cross-functional collaboration. The team builds and maintains evergreen programs, tools, and communications that enable consistent store execution and support short-term initiatives. By leveraging in-store insights and operational data, Retail Operations continuously improves processes and store support.
If you were the Core Retail Operations Co-Op Student, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
Supporting the business with operational, commercial, and merchandising expertise within a short-term planning horizon
Actively coordinating between stores and functional partners to resolve store-specific operational issues
Identifying improvement opportunities within processes, communication, or tools and make recommendations to the Core Retail Operations team
Utilizing systems and tools efficiently to support daily operations but pulling, compiling, analyzing, and interpreting information
Spending consistent time in retail stores to gain first-hand understanding of store operations and our guest experience model

You’ll develop strong cross-functional communication skills by coordinating with store teams and internal partners to resolve operational challenges
You’ll build analytical and problem-solving abilities through using retail systems and tools to gather, analyze, and interpret data, while also identifying process improvement opportunities
You’ll gain practical, first-hand understanding of store operations, connecting Retail operations with guest experience and how HQ work transfers into the in-store experience
Are you our next Core Retail Operations Co-Op Student?
You are currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op or internship program (Business, Operations, Retail Management, or related field preferred)
You have strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
You are have strong communications skills, both verbal and in writing
You have the ability to analyze information and summarize insights
You are comfortable working with data, systems, and operational tools
You are comfortable collaborating professionally with multiple stakeholders
You have Retail experience and a willingness to spend time in store environments
You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to leaving it better
