RKSV Securities was founded by Ravi Kumar and Shrinivas Viswanath in 2009 and was soon graced by Kavitha Subramanian as the third co-founder in 2016. Backed by Ratan Tata, Upstox had raised $4 million in Series A funding in early 2016 that was led by Kalaari Capital. The Series B funding round scaled multifold and witnessed an investment of $25 million by US-based investment firm - Tiger Global Management in September 2019.

Overview:
As a Copywriter at Upstox, you'll be responsible for crafting creative advertisement copy for the brand and its products across multiple platforms. Your primary focus will be on increasing customer acquisition and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
.Propose copy concepts and present underlying strategic thinking to business leaders
.Based on concepts and strategy, create compelling and high-engagement social media and performance ad copies, including video scripts, that reflect our brand's voice
.Produce error-free, jargon-free copies that adhere to the company's style guidelines
.Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts
.Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines
Stay updated with financial and economic news to create contextually relevant content
.Develop innovative communication strategies aimed at both new and existing investors
.Identify content gaps and propose new ideas to enhance effectiveness
Cross-functional Work:
Collaborate with Marketing, Growth, PR, and Customer Relationship Management teams to develop a variety of content marketing materials
Lead outsourced content initiatives, coordinating with external agencies
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing or communications
Demonstrated success in managing a business's social media presence
Experience in producing copy for digital, print, and broadcast channels
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Communicator, and Outlook
Exceptional skill with the nuances of social media writing, including the use of hashtags, emojis, and acronyms
Solid understanding of SEO concepts preferred
Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills; proficiency in another language is a plus
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting stringent deadlines
Experience in direct investing or trading in stocks is a plus
