Coordinator, Multiplatform Scheduling

TLDR

Schedule and coordinate promotional assets for VERSANT's Sports & Entertainment brands while maximizing viewership through strategic planning and analytics.

The Multiplatform Planning Coordinator will be scheduling and coordinating promotional assets to support linear and multiplatform for VERSANT’s Sports & Entertainment brands.  This person will support the overall owned media planning strategies and help generate brand awareness by ensuring that all priorities are being effectively and efficiently promoted on-air, streaming, on demand, and on other platforms. This person must be skilled in data & analytics, strategy, and planning with the ability to hit hard deadlines, troubleshoot, multitask, and pivot at a moment’s notice.

Responsibilities

  • Help maximize viewership by strategically planning and scheduling campaigns to maximize reach, frequency, and conversion
  • Plan and schedule across platforms according to marketing priorities, understand premiere plans, rollout, and stunt strategies
  • Gather, utilize, and interpret data to inform strategy and schedules
  • Adjust scheduling as needed when programming or format changes occur, communicating closely with broadcast facilities
  • In conjunction with Multiplatform Planning team members, assist in outlining campaign deliverables and commissioning promo content, relaying Multiplatform strategy and communicating closely with Production/Creative teams to ensure timely delivery of assets
  • Create all promo campaigns in asset management system, scheduling system, and optimizer system: promo codes, versions, flight dates, lengths, and revisions, ensuring most up to date and accurate data is maintained and swapped as needed
  • Communicate asset and trafficking instructions to execute strategy across non-linear platforms
  • Collaborate across multiple teams, staying up to date with everchanging priorities in a fast-paced environment, track schedule changes, creative revisions, etc., and update all respective documents and teams as needed
  • Communicate closely with counterparts across the Multiplatform Planning team, relaying promo priorities and scheduling nuances
  • Provide asset information for cross network support; execute incoming cross network strategy on linear for top VERSANT and external priorities
  • Assist with compiling & reconciling on-air schedules for post campaign analysis; pull post-log reports; analyze campaign effectiveness and provide recommendations for future strategy and planning
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve, work with all teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies, manage missing assets for scheduling needs
  • Keep up to date with entertainment, content, and industry trends
  • Facilitate promo changes with Master Control during off hours as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, research, data/analytics, film, television or related field
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint
  • Familiarity with media metrics (Nielsen, AMRLD & Big data) for planning
  • Outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills & communication skills
  • Willingness to work nights/weekends with short notice, as needed
  • Excellent quality control abilities
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changes in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in multiple timelines concurrently
  • Ability to problem solve and find solutions to timely issues
  • Self-starter, proactive, resourceful

Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000
