Main Responsibilities
Write to convert: Craft original, clear, and high-performing copy for landing pages, paid ads, app store descriptions, newsletters, and social media.
Drive the experiments: Partner closely with the Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) team to write copy variants for A/B tests and website experiments.
Master the data: Follow a data-first approach. Use qualitative and quantitative insights to decide whether a headline needs to be witty or blunt.
Optimize for search: Create SEO-friendly content that ranks well without sounding robotic.
Prioritize and deliver: Juggle multiple tickets and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency-style environment.
Research and adjust: Keep up with the cybersecurity world and our competitors to ensure our messaging is always one step ahead.
Core requirements
Native-level English skills.
2+ years of experience in conversion copywriting — experience in consumer technology is a plus.
A "performance over poetry" mindset. You prefer succinct writing that drives action over long, complex prose that makes readers sigh.
Stakeholder management skills. You are comfortable taking a vague request from a product manager and turning it into a sharp value proposition.
Experience with testing. You understand the basics of A/B testing and aren't afraid to kill your darlings if the data says a different headline works better.
Adaptability. You can switch between different tones and formats quickly and work independently as well as in a team.
Resilience. You can handle feedback from multiple directions and iterate quickly.
Critical thinking. You have creative problem-solving skills mixed with a heavy dose of common sense.
