We are looking for engineers who are passionate about commercializing and popularizing cutting-edge technologies under research. You are expected to have practical experience and in-depth knowledge of software development, and to think, design, and implement software with high performance and high quality together with your colleagues. You will report to the lead of the sub-function. The work style is hybrid (remote and office). Business trips may be required for evaluations, experiments, and similar activities. (4 days per month on average) RESPONSIBILITIES You will contribute to the end-to-end development of a voice-based dialogue system for an AI agent. The goal is to create real products for vehicle edge devices.    ・Design, develop, and improve dialogue processing pipelines for a real-time conversational agent    ・Collaborate with researcher(s) to expand prototype models into production-ready systems    ・Optimize and accelerate components related to speech processing (ASR/NLP/TTS, signal processing, etc.)    ・Monitor performance and iteratively improve using real-world data from actual execution environments (edge device, OS, network conditions)    ・Improve user experience and system quality during the operation phase, including monitoring and metrics    ・Contribute to code review, configuration management, release processes, and cross‑team collaboration MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience developing real-time speech/dialogue systems (ASR, NLP, TTS, etc.)
  • Strong programming skills for performance optimization (C, C++)
  • Experience in designing and implementing speech processing algorithms (noise reduction, source separation, AEC / AGC / VAD, etc.)
  • Experience fine-tuning or optimizing LLMs for real-time systems
  • Business‑level Japanese and Conversational‑level English
  • NICE TO HAVES
  • Experience with GPU-accelerated computing (e.g., CUDA) and optimization
  • Python proficiency with experience in machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Tensorflow)
  • Experience in designing and implementing applications that communicate with backend systems
  • Understanding of data privacy and security best practices in speech and conversational AI systems
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
