  • Participates in the yearly budget definition of his/her area, according to objectives defined on plant level;
  • Identifies, analyses and ensures the implementation of potential Controls & Drives improvements (including costs saving and energy saving, downtime and scrap reduction) on area production machineries in cooperation with other departments (Production, Quality, Purchasing);
  • Transfer knowledge to all Electricians (Craftsmen) in order to ensure best maintenance practice for C&D systems;
  • Support the startup of new equipment and ensures on electrical production equipment C&D standards;
  • Interact with suppliers to implement required electrical equipment upgrades.Supports external company with the evaluation of electricians in the area;
  • Ensures the implementation of the local Maintenance strategy (including CBS implementation support, maintenance processes improvements including SAP PM / PUMA, interfaces with other departments, condition monitoring tools implementation, ….);
  • Maintains an updated C&D documentation in the area (electrical plans, troubleshooting guides,etc…);
  • Ensures protection and creation of backups and maintenance of control system software, such as IPCs, PLCs, Drives, Communication Devices, etc;
  • Makes proposals of new ideas and improvements, discusses these with colleagues and gets involved actively in analyzing and implementing them;
  • Reports in the shortest possible time the impediments hindering him to solve his takes according to established time limits, quality and budget;
  • Makes proposals for alternative solutions for problems he is confronted with, out of the box, new, challenging solutions, discusses these with the team and gets involved in the implementation;
  • Identifies problems in daily business and proposes practical solutions. Informs the colleagues when he is facing a problem or acknowledges a situation and gets involved in solving it.
