Controller About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Controller to lead our accounting operations and drive financial excellence. This role will oversee general ledger management, cost accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls for a growing manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in partnering with operations to deliver actionable financial insights. Key Responsibilities Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial statements Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, and inventory accounting Manage cost accounting processes including standard costing, variance analysis, bill of materials, and production cost reviews Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements Implement, monitor, and improve internal controls across accounting and operational processes Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial guidance to leadership Coordinate annual financial audits and manage external auditor relationships Provide insightful operational and financial analyses to support continuous improvement initiatives Mentor and develop accounting team members Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including manufacturing and cost accounting exposure Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls Experience with ERP systems (preference for job/production costing environments) Excellent analytical skills, leadership presence, and communication abilities Benefits Competitive salary + performance-based bonus Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with company match Vacation, Sick Time & Paid Holidays Growth opportunities within a stable and long-standing organization Supportive leadership and collaborative culture
