🎯 About the Role
As our Head Accountant (Maternity Backfill), you’ll be the technical anchor of the team, ensuring accurate, compliant, and audit-ready accounting for both US and Canadian entities. You’ll have autonomy, ownership, and impact — perfect for someone who thrives on precision and efficiency.
What You’ll Do
Manage full-cycle accounting: journal entries, month-end close, financial statements, budgets, analysis
Oversee daily operations: AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations
Support financial reporting & budgeting for business decisions
Coordinate year-end audits and tax filings (US & Canada)
Drive continuous improvement, automation, and best practices
What We’re Looking For
CPA (or CA, CMA, CGA) with 10+ years’ experience in digital or high-growth companies
Strong NetSuite & Excel skills
Detail-oriented, autonomous, and proactive
Bilingual French/English OR English-only (strong asset for bilingual)
Passion for precision, compliance, and high-quality reporting
