As Controller, you’ll be the financial quarterback of Ganem Construction, overseeing all accounting operations and leading a team through structure, strategy, and scale. This position is based in Phoenix, AZ, and requires in-office presence to lead and support our team. Here’s what you’ll own:
Full control of AP, AR, payroll, HR accounting, job costing, and general ledger maintenance
Delivering accurate monthly/quarterly financial packages, including WIP schedules and job cost reporting
Managing tools like Sage 300, Procore, and Textura—and making data instantly actionable via BI dashboards
Owning compliance across AZ, CA, NV, and WA—including audits, taxes, and subcontractor documentation
Forecasting cash flow, supporting budgeting and proformas, and driving long-range financial planning
Recruiting, mentoring, and leading a top-tier accounting team that thrives in process, performance, and collaboration
Partnering with project teams to maximize job-level financial outcomes
Speaking with banks, vendors, and clients as the financial voice of Ganem
