Commitment to Diversity & Military Veterans Battle-Tested Leadership Experience 100% Data Center Focused Owner-Operator Mindset Control Room Specialist Location: Viborg, Denmark | Type: Full-time The Control Room Specialist will be responsible for monitoring, incident response, and daily operation of the data center from the control room. 

  • RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Oversee and be responsible for all critical and non-critical work that occurs or is planned on site. 
  • Work with your colleagues to ensure 100% uptime and minimize risks of operational disruptions. 
  • Assist with troubleshooting, analysis, and optimization of BMS, SCADA, Fire Life Safety, and network systems. 
  • Respond to alarms and identify problems to ensure the highest possible uptime. 
  • Act as an incident specialist and collaborate with teams to resolve incidents and ensure the quality of the subsequent documentation. 
  • Develop and review operational procedures, standards, and specifications. 
  • Analyze data, optimize processes, and report on critical operational parameters. 
  • Support and guide technicians and suppliers in their work. 
  • Monitor power, cooling capacity, and environmental conditions on site. 
  • Perform daily virtual inspections of SCADA and BMS systems. 
  • Follow and ensure customer and T5 Data Centers guidelines and procedures. 
  • Work in shifts to support 24/7 operation. 
  • All other responsibilities as assigned by T5 leadership. 


  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 
  • Technical school education preferred, e.g., Marine Engineer. 
  • Extensive experience in monitoring BMS, SCADA, and Fire Life Safety systems. 
  • Experience with automation, CTS, SCADA, networks, and servers. 
  • 3+ years of experience in a critical environment preferred – Data Centers, Shipping, Power/Heat Plants, Oil/Gas Industry, etc. 

  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES 
  • It is a requirement that you can communicate in Danish and English, both written and spoken. 
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Team-oriented approach and ability to build positive morale and team spirit. 
  • Effective in high-pressure situations. 
  • 'Can do' attitude with a focus on customer service and pride in work. 
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on the importance of meeting deadlines. 
  • Flexible and professional handling of changing needs and priorities. 
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical manuals, drawings, and sketches.
