The Role

The Renewal Sales Rep (RSR) will be responsible for managing, selling, renewing, and expanding service relationships with our customer base. In this role, the RSR will be expected to manage and assess opportunity areas and drive efficiencies to increase profitability and improve our overall renewal performance. This includes end-to-end customer experience in the renewal lifecycle and working with our team responsible for generating service quotes. This role will engage with multiple internal partners such as sales teams, district managers, support teams, and customers during negotiations. The RSR will also be responsible for submitting an accurate forecast to leadership.

  • Responsible for the renewal and overall sales of services and support agreements to customers, including educating customers about the value of Hitachi support services
  • Drive and execute quarterly and yearly targets, including individual performance targets
  • Know the specificity of the local market (direct vs. channel, Support Partner, Sale-cycle, Sales structure, GSS structure, etc.)
  • Build strong relationships with different stakeholders in your specific regions as well as with other teams Renewal Sales closely works with
  • Manage the planning and maintain an accurate and updated forecast for leadership’s review
  • Participate in team-related projects for system/process optimization
  • Establish and fine-tune processes to achieve continued and expanded service relationships with our existing customer base
  • Assist with the streamlining of systems and processes to further enhance automation and efficiency
  • Grow and leverage internal relationships with cross-functional teams and partners.

What you’ll bring

  • 1-4+ years experience in service delivery-related role; business analyst, sales support, contract negotiations, pricing specialist, etc. Some sales related experience preferred
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technology-related sales or operations
  • Proven ability to work in matrices driven organization and build strong relationships with partner organizations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; specific experience with remote teams
  • Proficient English verbal and written skills, a must.
  • Proven ability to use financial/quantitative data in decision making and recommendations
  • Proven analytical reasoning, creativity, conceptual ability, critical thinking, and judgment skills
  • Ability to see the big picture and plan accordingly, yet detailed enough to handle the day to day customer interactions
  • Experience with Salesforce and Oracle databases to research accounts and uncover renewal opportunities
  • Additional skills: negotiation, change management
