About the Role

In order to achieve its ambition of serving 80,000-100,000 Fellows over the next decade, Braven is hiring a part-time Contract Recruiter who will grow the Braven Team across business and technical roles.. As a member of the People & Operations team, you will work between 5 - 10 hours a week, hiring 2-3 roles over the next few months. 

This role is on the People & Operations team and reports directly to the Director, Talent Acquisition.

What You’ll Do 

Recruitment Logistics & Management (90%)

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing/application review to offer.
  • Conduct kickoff calls with hiring managers.
  • Ensure roles are filled within 60 days of the official start of the search process.

Process and Quality Assurance (10%)

  • Create a Slack channel, a Google Folder, and copies of interview materials for each role.
  • Review all interview materials and provide feedback within two business days, focusing on clarity, fairness, and feasibility.
  • Ensure hiring materials are created in preparation for the scheduled interviews.
  • Check in with Director, Talent Acquisition, 30m every other week

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a recruiter at a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally within the non-profit sector.
  • Experience hiring business and technical roles, from entry-level to Senior Director
  • Familiarity with Workable, Slack, and G Suite 
  • Strong communication and organization skills

Additional Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Consultant must provide Braven with a W9 prior to starting work or receiving payment

Benefits

Compensation 

The hourly rate for this position is $75/hr. This is a temporary hourly contractor position. Contractor is responsible for tracking their time and submitting tracked time with invoices on a monthly basis.
