This role is pivotal in leading software quality assurance efforts across complex projects, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and user experience.

As a Test Lead, you will be responsible for developing quality standards, overseeing test planning and execution, and guiding a team of testers to deliver excellence. You’ll play a key role in integrating testing into scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software testing and QA leadership.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Experience in scientific or data-intensive environments is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Skills, Experience & Attributes

• Develop and implement quality standards for software products.
• Lead the creation and execution of test plans, and analyse test results.
• Oversee integration of computing systems in scientific and data-driven environments.
• Debug software using systematic testing approaches and maintain detailed documentation.
• Analyse test outcomes to validate functionality and recommend corrective actions.
• Write and maintain test procedures and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and meet delivery timelines.
• Champion a health and safety culture aligned with company policy, ensuring the wellbeing of yourself and others.

Essential

• ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in managing enterprise testing services
• Proficiency across testing methodologies, automation, and tools
• Strong team leadership, coaching, and communication skills
• Experience in project management and vendor coordination
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and stakeholder engagement abilities

Desirable

• ISTQB Advanced Test Manager Certification
• Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related field
