Who You Will Work With

What You'll Do

The Contract Manufacturing Partner Manager is responsible for managing the company relationship with its Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners to ensure product quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. This role acts as the primary liaison between the internal organization and the external partners, driving strategy, operational execution, and compliance throughout the partnership lifecycle.

Partner and Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative, and long-term strategic relationships with contract manufacturing partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operational escalations and strategic discussions with CM executives.
  • Establish and lead an operating cadence, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), to track performance, review results, and align on future goals.
  • Drive overall partner success and be accountable for the performance of the relationship.

Manufacturing and Operations Oversight

  • Collaborate with MFG engineering team and CM to ensure adherence to product quality, cost targets, and delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and CM to drive continuous process improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency, reduce waste (e.g., aged WIP or consigned IC scrap), and lower manufacturing value-add (MVA) costs.
  • Collaborate with internal Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to align manufacturing processes with business goals and new product introduction (NPI) builds.

Contract and Compliance Management

  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, evaluating, negotiating, and executing master supply agreements, statements of work, and other partnership contracts.
  • Ensure all CM partners maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards (e.g., security, third-party risk assessment/TPRM).
  • Manage commercial topics such as pricing, terms, liability, and warranty obligations.

Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize partner value, such as implementing new supply chain or manufacturing models
  • Monitor partnership performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytical data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product) to align partnership goals with the company overall strategy.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in supply chain, business, operations or engineering required.
  • 10+ years of ODM/Contract Manufacturer management experiences
  • Strong knowledge of the manufacturing industry, supply chain, and quality assurance principles.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with external partners and influence internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for performance evaluation and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and management.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple cross-functional projects.
  • Must be based in either Taiwan or Penang with legal work rights.
