As we continue to scale internationally, we are looking for an experienced Contract Manager who can strategically support our commercial growth while protecting margins and managing risk.

The Role

As Contract Manager, you are end-to-end responsible for Optimile’s full contractual landscape, both on the sales and procurement side.

You combine strong commercial insight with structured contract management and play a key role in safeguarding margins, controlling risks, and enabling scalable growth.

You work closely with Sales, Finance, and Legal, acting as the bridge between commercial ambition and contractual reality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contract Negotiations & Lifecycle Management (Sales Side)

  • Negotiate customer contracts (pricing structures, margins, payment terms, SLAs, liability clauses)
  • Structure scalable and profitable white-label agreements
  • Ensure proper contractual treatment of platform and network costs
  • Draft addenda for evolving business models and expansions
  • Safeguard margins under commercial pressure
  • Advise Sales on complex deals and pricing strategies

2. Contract Management & Procurement (Supplier Side)

  • Negotiate pricing and collaboration terms with suppliers and partners
  • Optimize and restructure existing agreements
  • Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
  • Harmonize diverse contractual setups
  • Support strategic procurement decisions

3. Structuring & Professionalization

  • Implement a clear contract lifecycle management approach
  • Ensure end-to-end follow-up, including annual renewals
  • Proactively manage contractual risks
  • Clean up and align historically grown agreements
  • Improve internal processes and cross-team collaboration

4. Insurance & Risk Management

  • Negotiate with insurance providers
  • Evaluate adequacy of current coverage (liability, employee benefits, etc.)
  • Follow up on claims
  • Optimize coverage in line with growth and international expansion

Your Profile

You combine analytical thinking with commercial sharpness and strong negotiation skills.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Master’s degree (or equivalent through experience)
  • Has 5+ years of relevant experience in contract management, procurement, or commercial negotiations
  • Has experience with supplier contracts and procurement
  • Ideally worked in a SaaS, technology, or scale-up environment
  • Has strong financial insight into margins, pricing mechanisms, and profitability
  • Works in a structured and analytical way, with attention to both detail and business impact
  • Is proactive and solution-oriented
  • Can conduct difficult negotiations constructively
  • Collaborates easily with Sales, Finance, and Legal
  • Communicates fluently in English and Dutch (French is a plus)

  • Experience with international contracts
  • Knowledge of contract lifecycle management tools
  • Experience with white-label or platform agreements
