What is Contract Management Executive?

The Contracts Management Executive will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of contract uploading, validation, and performance review within the Contract Management System (CMS). This role ensures that all contracts are accurately uploaded, validated against signed commercial offers, and aligned with business case margins. The Contracts Executive will also coordinate with the legal team for contract customizations and work closely with sales segments to rectify discrepancies as per defined SOPs.

 

What does Contract Management Executive do?

Key Responsibilities

Contract Validation & Coordination

  • Coordinate with the legal team for any required contract customizations or amendments.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with organizational policies, legal requirements, and commercial terms.
  • Validate contract terms and conditions against approved business cases and proposals.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during the contract review process.

Contract Management & Uploading

  • Review contracts before uploading to ensure they match signed commercial offers and approved proposals.
  • Input and validate business case margins in CMS, ensuring all calculations are accurate before final upload.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of all uploaded contracts for audit and reference purposes.

Performance Reporting & Analysis

  • Monitor and review the performance of contractually locked customers to ensure compliance with agreed terms.
  • Analyse the achievement of contractually locked customer contracts and prepare detailed performance reports.
  • Identify and report any deviations or discrepancies in contract performance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with sales segments to rectify discrepancies and ensure all contracts are aligned with defined SOPs.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
  • Develop and share ad-hoc reports and analysis as required by management or business stakeholders

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with sales, legal, and finance teams to ensure smooth contract execution and compliance.
  • Serve as a key liaison between cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, ensuring effective coordination, streamlined communication, and smooth execution of business operations.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on contract performance and any identified issues.
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions with relevant stakeholders to address contract-related matters.
  • Provide training and guidance to relevant teams on contract management processes and best practices.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, Finance, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in contract management, legal compliance, or related roles.
  • Experience in the telecom sector or a similar industry is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of contract management processes and legal requirements.
  • Proficiency in using Word & Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
