Contract Demand Lead

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: September 12, 2026
Work set up: Hybrid (on site during training period, then 2 days per week in office) - BPSS Clearance required

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Contract Demand Lead to join a busy and fast-paced Demand Management function. This pivotal role supports the management of client cost requests, ensuring high-quality responses are delivered within agreed Service Level Agreements and contractual measures. The position requires a PMO-type skillset or strong service experience, with a focus on governance, financial insights, stakeholder management, and process compliance. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

What you will do:

  • Own the end-to-end management of client cost requests from receipt to response.
  • Collaborate with portfolio teams, development teams, specialists, and Demand Management colleagues to produce high-quality responses within client deadlines.
  • Capture and maintain a strong audit trail of data from request receipt through response issuance to support management information and ensure process compliance.
  • Ensure appropriate quality standards and approvals are in place before issuing responses to the client.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the Demand Management process and resolve process-related queries.
  • Support governance, reporting, and project support activities aligned with contractual measures.
  • Monitor deadlines and Service Level Agreements to avoid service penalties.
  • Facilitate stand-up meetings where required and oversee response progress to ensure delivery remains on schedule.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the wider team.
  • Provide flexible coverage for colleagues and, where necessary, extend working hours to meet same-day response requirements.

 

  • Experience in a PMO, service delivery, or similar coordination-focused role.
  • Strong analysis, stakeholder management, and governance capabilities.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High attention to detail, particularly in data capture and assurance tasks.
  • Experience delivering against Service Level Agreements.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira and JQL preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • BPSS clearance eligibility.
