Contract Administrator

The Contract Administrator reports to the Contract Manager and is responsible for managing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.  This role involves maintaining contract records, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the overall contract lifecycle from initiation to closeout.  

Requirements

Major Position Responsibilities 

  • Review and negotiate staffing services agreements to ensure all comply with legal requirements and company policies 
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with contract terms and conditions. 
  • Summarize contract terms for use by business partners (operations, finance, sales teams) 
  • Report status of contracts in progress to sales managers 
  • Investigate and resolve contract conflicts 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records 
  • Manage contracts and related documents in a CLM platform for integration with other business platforms 
  • Create and maintain language standards of existing and new contracts 
  • Continuously evaluate and implement best practices in contract management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness 
  • Liaise with internal departments such as sales, finance, and operations to facilitate contract processes 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders 
  • Provide guidance and training on contract policies and procedures to internal teams 
  • Manage contract, license and registration renewals 
  • Work with Insurance Broker to obtain applicable Certificates of Insurance 
  • Manage all workload activities within a ticketing system for tracking completed and work in progress metrics 
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Required Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate 
  • One year experience in a legal environment reviewing and managing contracts 
  • Ability to analyze government license applications and apply critical thinking 
  • Experience working with and managing data maintenance 
  • Highly organized, handle pressure well and understand important deadlines 
  • Attention to detail and ability to notice errors 
  • Ability to analyze government contract, license and registration requirements and apply critical thinking 
  • Must be able to relate to people in a variety of situations and corporate positions 
  • Able to work productively independently and as part of a team 
  • Highly trustworthy and use good judgment 
  • High level of accountability and responsibility 
  • Excellent reading and language comprehension 
  • Effective ability to negotiate and execute contracts 
  • Strong verbal, writing, and computer skills 
  • IntelAgree and Bullhorn experience a plus! 

 

Work Schedule 

  • In-office with flexibility to work from home with manager approval.
