Summary As a contract AR Analyst, you will be responsible for improving and maintaining outstanding AR metrics. The position will analyze AR reports weekly and determine priority and methods of outreach, communicate with the billing, contracts, and other operations teams to resolve customer concerns.  What you’ll be doing

• Review weekly Accounts Receivable aging reports to prioritize outreach

• Contact new customers to confirm billing information

• Contact and follow-up with customers with past due invoices to request payment statuses and provide solutions with the Accounting team and customer to resolve outstanding payment commitments

• Document customer contacts and collection efforts 

• Communicate with internal staff regarding customer concerns and issues including partnering with key commercial stakeholders to ensure customer balances are addressed and resolved

• Make recommendations for next steps in the collections process such as service interruptions or external collections

We’ll be excited if you have

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration 

• 2+ years of experience

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets

• Intermediate knowledge of accounting fundamentals

• Technical and have used or can learn various B2B software (Sage Intacct, Salesforce)

• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) with outstanding ability to influence decision-makers and guide effective questions

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Self-motivated team player with a customer-centric approach to getting things done

• Must be able to overlap 30% of the day with APAC and SEA hours

Location

The role is remote. For remote, we are looking for candidates based in Mexico.
