Job Overview
KDCI Outsourcing is seeking a Content & SEO Specialist to support editorial and SEO initiatives for a B2B technology publishing website. This role focuses on reviewing and improving existing content, applying SEO best practices to enhance site performance, and producing high-quality, human-written content in collaboration with US-based editors.
The ideal candidate has a strong editorial background with foundational SEO expertise, the ability to analyze content gaps and performance, and a firm commitment to non–AI-generated content standards.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Editorial Support
Review and validate existing SEO and content audit findings.
Assist in determining which content should be no-indexed, rewritten, consolidated, or revived.
Conduct content gap analysis to identify opportunities for new or improved content.
Recommend content angles, topics, and prioritization based on user intent and SEO potential.
Create or rewrite high-quality, human-written content aligned with editorial guidelines
(AI-assisted writing is strictly prohibited).
Collaborate closely with assigned US-based editors on content planning, review, and publishing workflows.
SEO & Optimization Tasks
Apply SEO fundamentals, including keyword research and analysis (primary, secondary, and long-tail).
Perform content gap analysis to identify ranking opportunities versus competitors.
Optimize title tags and meta descriptions.
Align content with search intent and refine keyword usage.
Provide internal linking recommendations.
Improve on-page content structure, including headings, readability, and semantic relevance.
Assist in monitoring content performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
Help prepare reports and insights based on SEO and performance results.
Participate in periodic site audits to identify on-page and basic technical SEO opportunities.
Provide SEO-driven recommendations to improve site visibility, rankings, and organic traffic.
Website Audit & Technical Support
Validate prior SEO audit work and support implementation of recommendations.
Assist with temporary content changes, such as applying no-index tags during content cleanup.
Coordinate with editors and internal teams to ensure SEO recommendations are executed accurately.
Job Requirements
2–4 years of experience in content writing, editorial work, or SEO content optimization.
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce clear, engaging B2B content.
Hands-on experience with foundational SEO principles, including on-page SEO, keyword usage, metadata, and content optimization.
Experience conducting content audits or gap analyses is preferred.
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote editorial teams.
Experience working with international or US-based clients.
Strong research skills and high attention to detail.
Must strictly adhere to human-only content creation (no AI-generated writing).
