This is a content and search-led role.

As a Content & Search Manager, you will own the strategy, creation, and optimisation of Huble's content across our website and beyond – with the primary goal of ensuring the right people find us, land on our site, and convert into pipeline and new contracts. 

Your work will span SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation). You'll be responsible for making sure Huble shows up where it matters – whether that's in traditional search results, AI-generated answers, or emerging discovery surfaces. You won't just monitor rankings; you'll be the person shaping what we publish, how we publish it, and why.

This is a hands-on role. You'll be the strategist and the executor – writing and producing content yourself, not briefing agencies or managing freelancers. You'll need to be comfortable working with AI tools at scale to move fast, but with the taste, judgement, and opinion to ensure everything we publish is worth reading. 

You'll also be responsible for ensuring our content works across markets – coordinating with native-speaking colleagues to translate and localise content into French and German, using AI tools to accelerate the process.

You will be joining our Internal Marketing Team that works collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, a small team with members that pride themselves on working independently (under minimal supervision). We're looking for a like-minded individual who embraces change and constantly seeks creative and innovative approaches to continuously improve how we do things.

You'll report to the Head of Marketing. 

🚀 Key Performance Areas:

1. SEO Foundations & Technical Excellence (Core Focus)

You will own and maintain the SEO foundations across Huble's website (built on HubSpot), ensuring best practice is embedded in everything we publish. This includes:

  • Site architecture, internal linking, and URL structure
  • On-page optimisation (metadata, headings, schema markup, page speed considerations) 
  • Keyword research and search intent mapping
  • Technical SEO audits and ongoing monitoring
  • Ensuring new pages, blogs, and campaigns are optimised from day one
  • Identifying and fixing underperforming content
  • Backlink strategy and off-site authority building

2. AEO & GEO Strategy (Growth Focus)

You will build and own Huble's AEO and GEO capability from the ground up. This is an emerging space and we need someone who will stay ahead of it. You will:

  • Develop Huble's strategy for appearing in AI-generated answers and summaries (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Claude, etc.)
  • Understand and implement tactics that improve our visibility across generative search surfaces
  • Stay on top of evolving metrics, reporting frameworks, and measurement tools in the AEO/GEO space
  • Use our partner tools – Elelem.ai and Peec AI – to track, report, and improve performance
  • Build Huble's credibility as a cited and referenced source across AI platforms
  • Ensure our content is structured, authoritative, and optimised for machine consumption as well as human readers

3. Content Creation & Execution

You will be the primary content creator for Huble's website. This is not a strategy-only role – you will write, edit, and publish. Content will include:

  • Blog posts and thought leadership articles
  • Service and solution pages
  • Case studies and customer stories
  • Landing pages and campaign content
  • Off-site content where it supports SEO/AEO goals (guest posts, digital PR, partner content)

This content must:

  • Be opinionated, useful, and genuinely valuable to our target audience
  • Be written for a consulting-led, enterprise B2B audience – not generic or fluffy
  • Demonstrate real expertise and point of view – not AI slop
  • Support conversion – ensuring visitors move through the site toward meaningful actions

4. Conversion Optimisation

Getting traffic is only half the job. You will also be responsible for ensuring visitors convert once they arrive. This includes:

  • Reviewing and improving on-page conversion paths (CTAs, forms, navigation)
  • Working with the broader marketing team to align content with campaigns and lead generation goals
  • Analysing user behaviour to identify drop-off points and opportunities
  • A/B testing content approaches and page structures where appropriate

5. Multilingual Content Coordination

Huble operates across multiple markets. You will:

  • Coordinate the translation and localisation of key content into French and German
  • Use AI tools to accelerate translation workflows
  • Work with native-speaking team members to review, approve, and publish localised content
  • Ensure localised content maintains SEO/AEO best practice for each market

6. Tools, AI & Experimentation

You are expected to be fluent in modern content, SEO, and AI tools, including:

  • SEO & Analytics: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog (or equivalent)
  • AEO/GEO: Elelem.ai, Peec AI
  • CMS: HubSpot CMS
  • AI & Creative Tech:
    • GPT / Gemini / Claude for content creation, ideation, and iteration (or similar)
    • AI translation tools for multilingual workflows
    • AI-powered content optimisation and analysis tools

You will use AI at scale to increase your output and velocity – but always with the judgement to know when AI helps and when it hurts. We value taste, opinion, and craft over volume.

🏆 Performance-based incentive:

In addition to your base salary, you will receive a performance-based incentive tied directly to the new business contracts we sign that come via organic and AI search pipeline. Deals that can be attributed to organic search or AI-driven discovery will qualify, giving you a direct stake in the commercial impact of your work.

🏗️ To excel in this role, you should have the following:

  • Strong background in SEO – both technical and content-led
  • Demonstrable experience in content creation for B2B, consulting, or enterprise audiences
  • Understanding of (or strong curiosity about) AEO, GEO, and how AI is changing search
  • Experience working within HubSpot CMS or similar platforms
  • Comfortable with analytics – able to read data, spot trends, and make decisions from it
  • Proven ability to write content that ranks, converts, and actually says something
  • Experience coordinating multilingual content across markets is a plus
  • Experience in a consultancy, agency, or B2B environment is a strong plus
