The Manager will also lead the content pipeline, ensuring quality execution across multiple channels, and will work closely with internal stakeholders to support key marketing initiatives.

Because this position is highly writing-intensive, the ideal candidate will have a demonstrated portfolio of published work—spanning articles, campaign content, and thought leadership pieces—that showcases both strategic and B2B lead-generating writing ability.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the editorial calendar and oversee the production of blogs, case studies, white papers, and SEO-optimized content.
  • Develop and execute thought leadership content for Follett Software Innovators Network, including identifying guest contributors and industry influencers.
  • Own webinar planning, execution, and content repurposing across blogs, social media, FSIN, and other channels.
  • Define social media strategy and oversee its execution, ensuring content is optimized for engagement and distribution.
  • Manage customer storytelling initiatives, including case studies, testimonials, and feature stories.
  • Ensure content is repurposed effectively across digital channels, including website, email, and paid media.
  • Track and analyze content performance metrics to evaluate success against KPIs, optimizing strategy based on key insights and data-driven recommendations. Leverage reporting tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar platforms to monitor engagement, conversion rates, and content effectiveness.
  • Showcase a strong understanding of content marketing through past work examples, as evident in candidate’s portfolio.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  •  5-7 years of experience in content marketing, social media strategy, and thought leadership.
  • Required Skills: strong writing, storytelling, and editorial skills
  • Experience managing content calendars, SEO strategies, and multi-channel content execution
  • Proven experience planning and executing webinars and repurposing content
  • Social media strategy experience with a focus on engagement and brand growth
  • Leadership experience, including managing and mentoring team members, a plus
  • Familiarity with tools such as Wistia Hubspot, and G2 a plus
