Content Manager (UK remote)
TLDR
Own the full content output for Parcelhero Group across multiple digital platforms, driving performance and user engagement through innovative content management and creation.
CMS and Website Content Management (Primary Priority)
-
Storyblok ownership: Own day-to-day content management in Storyblok across all active Parcelhero Group websites. Publish, update, and maintain page content, components, and landing pages with accuracy and speed.
-
Multi-tenant website expansion: As we roll out localised websites for the USA, Germany, France, and the Netherlands, you will be responsible for building out and maintaining content across each locale within the CMS. This includes adapting copy for regional audiences, managing translated content, and ensuring structural consistency across all sites.
-
Technical content hygiene: Ensure all published content meets SEO and technical standards: correct URL structures, meta titles, meta descriptions, image alt text, canonical tags, heading hierarchy, and internal linking. You own the quality of what goes live.
-
CMS governance: Maintain a clean, well-organised CMS environment. Create and enforce content templates, naming conventions, and publishing workflows so the team can scale without quality degradation.
-
On-page SEO: Own on-page optimisation across all Parcelhero Group websites. This includes keyword targeting, metadata, structured data, URL hygiene, alt text, and internal link architecture.
-
GEO and AEO: Understand and implement strategies for Generative Engine Optimisation and Answer Engine Optimisation. As AI-powered search surfaces become primary discovery channels, our content must be structured and written to perform within them. You will lead this effort.
-
Content performance: Track and report on content performance using GA4 and Search Console. Use data to inform what to create, update, retire, or repurpose.
-
Primary writer: Write and produce all marketing content for the team, including blog posts, website page copy, ebooks, guides, case studies, social media posts, email copy, and ad copy. You will use Claude as your primary writing tool and are expected to produce high-quality output at volume.
-
Blog management: Manage and publish the Parcelhero blog. Pitch and manage third-party placements in e-commerce and logistics media.
-
Content editing: Review and edit content produced by other team members, including sales and product, to ensure consistency with brand voice and messaging.
-
Content calendar: Develop and maintain a content calendar that supports campaign launches, product milestones, and always-on SEO priorities.
-
Channel ownership: Own and manage all Parcelhero Group organic social media channels. This includes content planning, copywriting, visual briefing or creation in Canva, scheduling via Hootsuite, and community management.
-
Posting cadence: Maintain a consistent, high-frequency posting schedule across relevant platforms. This is an active, high-output channel, not a weekly task.
-
Community engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions. Foster an interactive, on-brand presence across all channels.
-
Review platform ownership: Own the strategy and day-to-day management of customer reviews across Feefo, Trustpilot, Google, and any other relevant review platforms. This includes monitoring, responding to reviews, and managing escalations in line with brand guidelines.
-
Review generation: Work with Customer Success and Operations to maintain a consistent flow of customer reviews and build review volume across all active platforms.
-
Reputation reporting: Track review scores and sentiment trends and report regularly to the Marketing Director.
-
Performance tracking: Use GA4, Search Console, and Hootsuite analytics to track content and social performance. Produce regular reports and use data to drive decisions.
-
Cross-functional work: Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and the wider marketing team to ensure content supports commercial priorities. Content at Parcelhero connects directly to revenue.
-
AI-powered working: We are a heavy Claude user across the business. You are expected to use AI tools actively and intelligently across writing, editing, research, and planning, not occasionally.
