Role Summary As a Content Lead, you shape the voice, clarity, and narrative structure of digital products and experiences. Overseeing the entire content lifecycle, you know that great design is not just visual — it’s verbal. You craft language that guides, informs, and delights, ensuring every message reinforces the product’s intent and the brand’s integrity. You bring together writing, storytelling, and content strategy to create scalable, human-centered content frameworks. You partner closely with UX, Visual, and Product Designers to build seamless, consistent experiences across every touchpoint. You also embrace AI as both a creative accelerator and a craft partner — using tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and other generative writing assistants to ideate, adapt tone, and localize content at speed. You help teams use AI responsibly to enhance their workflow, while ensuring human empathy and editorial judgment remain at the core of every experience. In parallel, you’re evolving your practice in the emerging area of SEO → GEO (Generative Experience Optimization) — collaborating closely with analytics and product partners to translate search intent into content experiences that are adaptive, conversational, and discoverable in AI-driven ecosystems. Project Responsibilities Lead content strategy and creation for digital products, ensuring language clarity, consistency, and accessibility across all touchpoints. Partner with UX and Visual Designers to define the role of language in navigation, interaction, and information hierarchy. Oversee the development of high-impact content such as product microcopy, marketing copy, case studies, and campaign narratives. Conduct content audits and optimizations, ensuring brand tone, SEO integrity, and user-centered storytelling remain aligned. Guide the integration of content into design systems — defining patterns for tone, error states, calls to action, and empty states. Use AI tools to ideate faster, improve writting accuracy and tone alignment, and generate first drafts for refinement. Support translation and localization efforts through AI-assisted tools while maintaining nuance, clarity, and intent. Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including design, research, and marketing — to craft cohesive narratives that drive engagement and comprehension. Review, edit, and coach junior content practitioners to elevate their storytelling, accuracy, and brand fluency. Present content strategies and creative rationales to clients, framing decisions through a user-centered narrative lens. Product Design Craft-specific technical skills Content Strategy & Systems: Define frameworks for scalable, repeatable content patterns across products; ensure consistency in tone, taxonomy, and hierarchy. Writing & Editing Mastery: Create clear, concise, and compelling content aligned with brand voice; edit rigorously for accuracy and tone. Information Architecture: Structure content for clarity and discoverability within complex digital ecosystems. Microcopy & UX Writing: Design user-focused copy for interfaces — guiding actions, clarifying states, and reinforcing trust. Visual Storytelling: Collaborate with designers to align visual and verbal narratives, ensuring cohesion across text, motion, and illustration. SEO/GEO & Content Analytics: Apply keyword and performance data to improve content visibility and engagement. AI in Content Design: Use AI for ideation, translation, summarization, and tone modulation; guide teams in responsible use. CMS & Tooling: Operate within content management systems (e.g., AEM, WordPress); apply basic HTML/CSS for structured content formatting. Accessibility & Localization: Ensure content meets WCAG standards and resonates across languages and regions. Broad design competencies & soft skills (mastered) Client Relationship Management: Listens carefully to clients to internalize their point of view and to respond thoughtfully to feedback
