We are looking for a Content Editor- Italian with a focus on editing and publishing high quality content and data across Slots, Casino, Bingo, and Gambling news and strategy online publications.

You should be comfortable using Content Management Systems and working to daily deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of editorial care and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Edit and publish externally commissioned content daily via CMS (e.g. WordPress), ensuring timely turnaround that supports commercial performance and strategic visibility.
• Review and QA all content with precision, checking for SEO alignment, internal linking, on-brand voice, factual accuracy, and editorial consistency.
• Ensure all published content is genuinely useful, unique, and user-focused, meeting both editorial and SEO standards while upholding E-E-A-T principles (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness).
• Liaise with freelancers to commission, review, and refine original content, providing clear, constructive feedback that improves ongoing quality and reliability.
• Work cross-functionally with SEO, product, commercial, and content teams to align content output with user needs, brand guidelines, and broader business goals.
• Champion editorial best practices that support user trust, brand safety, and factual accuracy, while contributing to process improvements in QA workflows, freelancer management, and content ideation.

Requirements

• Experience in writing, editing, and publishing content via CMS platforms such as WordPress, and using content optimisation tools like Surfer SEO.
• Strong grasp of casino, slots, bingo, or gambling verticals, and a genuine understanding of user intent and regulatory context within the niche.
• Native Italian, and a flawless writer and communicator with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• A clear understanding of E-E-A-T and how to apply it across content planning, creation, and editing.

• Experience working in a high-output, quality-driven digital publishing environment.

Desirable Skills

• Project management experience with tools including Jira, Slack, and Google Workspace apps e.g. Sheets, Docs, etc.
• Knowledge of conversion-oriented copywriting tactics.
• Knowledge of SEO and EEAT best practices.
• Enthusiastic about the Casino and Gambling industry.
• Experience with SEO and digital marketing tools e.g. Google Analytics, Canva, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
• Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
