POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Content Development Strategist / Copywriter who can transform complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, compelling stories that connect with IT professionals and decision-makers alike. You’ll be the creative force behind impactful campaigns, persuasive product messaging, and stories that showcase how ThreatLocker helps organizations take control of their cybersecurity through Zero Trust. 

This is a strategic and creative position — one where you’ll shape our messaging and craft the copy that brings it to life and support ThreatLocker broader content and communication strategy. 

JOB OVERVIEW

• Fully manage the development of ThreatLocker Magazine, from identifying topics, customer interviews, and regional features to proofreading, ensuring content accuracy, and overseeing the print and distribution process. 
• Write and develop persuasive, high-impact copy across multiple channels — website, campaigns, video scripts, product sheets, case studies, and more. 
• Translate complex technical solutions into simple, benefit-driven narratives that resonate with our audiences. 
• Build cohesive messaging frameworks for marketing initiatives that align with our brand voice and business goals. 
• Collaborate closely with developers and leadership teams to ensure message consistency and strategic alignment. 
• Craft headlines, CTAs, and key messaging that grab attention and drive engagement. 
• Review and refine copy for tone, clarity, accuracy, and impact. 
• Ensure all content supports ThreatLocker mission. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of professional copywriting or content development experience (preferably in B2B technology or cybersecurity). 
• Proven ability to turn technical or complex ideas into engaging, easy-to-understand copy. 
• Strong grasp of storytelling, audience engagement, and brand-driven communication. 
• A portfolio that demonstrates campaign headlines, product positioning, and long-form storytelling. 
• A strategic mindset — you think beyond words to understand how messaging drives business outcomes. 
• Excellent writing, editing, and collaboration skills. 
• Leadership potential and a desire to take ownership of content direction as the company grows. 

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Job will generally be performed in an office environment but may require travel to visit company offices and/or property locations.

• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.

A background check and drug/substance screening are required after a conditional offer. Employment will proceed only upon receiving clear results from both.

ThreatLocker also conducts randomized drug and substance testing approximately every 60 days, in line with the same screening standards.
