Content Creator

We are looking for a proactive and adaptable Content Creator to be seconded to one of our clients. This is a great opportunity to get the best of both worlds – working in an amazing, smart, innovative social team within a thriving agency, but also directly with one of our clients experienced Head of Digital and Social.

You will need to be confident in front and behind the camera, approaching talent for interviews and working with a range of stakeholders at different levels to bring compelling stories to life in a way that feels fresh, engaging, and platform-optimised.

This role requires regular travel within the UK and occasional international travel, and you will be expected to carry out some out-of-hours work for shoots and events. We need someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, working independently and within a small, multi-skilled team, managing multiple projects and proactively bringing innovative content ideas to the table.

Please note this role is a 12 month FTC with the potential to extend afterwards. We would ideally like someone to start as soon as possible. You will need to attend the London office 2 times a week.

Key responsibilities

Content creation and production

  • End-to-end content creation – from concept and scripting to filming, editing and final delivery.
  • Capture high-quality video, photography and social-first content, ensuring it is optimised for each platform.
  • Edit video content to a professional standard using Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Feature in pieces-to-camera (PTC) content as a presenter or behind the scenes as a voiceover narrator for owned-content.
  • Work alongside the Social Media Producer to ensure smooth content production workflows, including setting up shoots and capturing supplementary footage.
  • Source and incorporate stock footage, user-generated content (UGC) and partner-supplied materials when necessary.

 Collaboration and stakeholder engagement

  • Work closely with the Social Media Manager to align content with the content calendar and overarching strategy.
  • Confidently approach and interview talent to produce engaging social-first video content.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the campaign’s tone, brand guidelines and platform-specific best practices.
  • Be adaptable and comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels, understanding the nuances of regulated industries and government-led initiatives.

Platform optimisation and performance

  • Stay on top of platform trends and suggest innovative content ideas that enhance engagement and reach.
  • Adapt content to different formats and advise on optimal performance across platforms.
  • Support the Social Media Manager with insights on content performance and reporting where necessary.

 Out-of-hours and travel requirements

  • Travel within the UK for on-location shoots and content opportunities.
  • Occasional evening and weekend shoots for events and key campaign moments.
  • Ad-hoc international travel to support campaign launches and activations

Requirements

  • Proven experience in content creation for social media (video production, photography and editing).
  • Experience with mobile audio recording and lighting setups.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro.
  • Comfortable using mobile editing tools such as Canva, CapCut and Frame.io, and productivity tools such as Notion.
  • Confident in shooting and editing high-quality video and photography optimised for social platforms.
  • Experience in interviewing talent and capturing natural, engaging on-camera moments.
  • A strong understanding of social media trends, formats and platform-specific best practices.
  • Ability to self-shoot and self-edit, balancing multiple projects and delivering work on time.
  • Comfortable working in a regulated industry or with government-affiliated campaigns (or has relevant media training).

Desirable:

  • Experience in animation and motion graphics.
  • Comfortable operating DSLR cameras and more complex filming equipment.
  • Background in journalism, documentary storytelling or public sector communications.
