The Content Commerce team works closely with creators to drive content-led growth on Meesho. A key part of this is ensuring clear, timely, and effective communication with creators around incentives, payouts, product changes, and platform policies. The team focuses on creator experience, clarity of messaging, and smooth GTM execution.
About the Role
As a Content Commerce Trainee – Creator Communications, you will support the team in drafting, executing, and managing communications sent to creators across multiple channels. This includes messaging related to creator incentives, GTMs for new features, and operational announcements.
The role requires strong communication skills, an understanding of Indian creator behaviour, and hands-on execution across tools like WhatsApp, Push Notifications (PNs), and RCS.
What you will do
Draft and execute creator-facing communications for:
Incentive programs
GTMs for new features and experiments
Operational updates (payouts, eligibility, timelines, etc.)
Ensure messaging is:
Clear, concise, and easy to understand
Written in the right mix of English/Hindi/Hinglish, suitable for an Indian creator audience
Manage communication execution across channels such as:
WhatsApp (via Gupshup)
Push Notifications (PNs)
RCS
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Business, Ops, Product, Support) to:
Finalize communication content
Align on timing and audience
Track communication delivery and performance of comms, and flag:
Delivery Rate Issues
Creator confusion or feedback patterns
Maintain documentation and trackers for:
Communication versions
GTM timelines
Creator cohorts targeted
Creator cohorts targeted
What you will need
Prior experience (internship / freelance / full-time) in sending user communications to an Indian user base.
Strong understanding of:
How Indian users interpret messaging
When to use Hinglish vs English
Writing crisp, action-oriented copy
Hands-on familiarity with:
Sending WhatsApp communications, Push Notifications, and RCS
Understanding of:
What types of messages work best on WhatsApp vs PNs vs RCSHow messaging impacts user action and engagement
Good coordination and execution skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple communication workflows simultaneously.
Nice to Have
Experience working with creator platforms, marketplaces, or social commerce products.
Exposure to GTM planning or campaign execution.
Basic understanding of creator incentives, payouts, or content moderation flows
Hands on familiarity with: Gupshup interface
