BIG PICTURE:

We are seeking a Consulting Producer to help lead the development of new premium long-form scripted content across YouTube and our growing network of distribution partners, including FAST, SVOD, and linear platforms. This is a senior creative role for someone who thrives at the intersection of fast-turn digital storytelling and TV-level ideation.

At Dhar Mann Studios we do things differently because we are YouTube first and digital. You will not be fielding outside pitches. Instead, you’ll be internally originating and rapidly creating new shows that align with our brand mission, audience expectations, and platform needs. You will help shape our long-form slate by generating original concepts, developing series bibles and beat sheets, writing scripts, and sourcing additional project based writers capable of scaling rapidly with audience demand. You’ll also be responsible for story architecture, tonal alignment, and crafting pitches that resonate both emotionally and algorithmically. The role requires deep YouTube sensibility, lightning fast writing skills, indie production scrappiness, strong narrative instincts, and the ability to scale creative output fast.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:

• Generating original concepts and series formats for YouTube-first long-form content and future expansion to FAST, AVOD, and SVOD. In your first couple weeks alone you’ll develop and write at least one series and one movie.
• Developing loglines, beat sheets, bibles, episode maps, and scripts for multiple concurrent projects.
• Write critical scripts as well as lead writer selection, onboarding, and guidance, sourcing indie writers who can work quickly, affordably, and on-brand once your capacity is tapped.
• Overseeing the script development process from idea through draft and polish. Helping evolve internal development workflows and writing systems to support increasing weekly output.
• Managing creative prep materials and development documents for pitches and greenlight
• Collaborating closely with internal creative teams to ensure story alignment with platform expectations, format constraints, and audience needs.
• Supporting the adaptation and evolution of Dhar Mann’s storytelling voice into expanded formats and narrative arcs.
• Monitor trends, competitive landscape, best practices, platform dynamics, audience feedback and analytics to continuously refine and improve success.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• Recent hands-on scale experience with YouTube, including trends, audience behavior, and content formats.
• 10+ years experience in scripted development, creative producing, and writing for digital video, television, or film.
• Proven ability to develop multiple projects in parallel, moving rapidly from concept to script to revision.
• Strong experience writing or overseeing beat sheets, treatments, and episodic story outlines.
• A network of indie writers who can be tapped quickly to support rapid story development.
• Comfort working with audience insights and performance data to drive creative decisions.
• Highly organized with strong communication skills, capable of managing writers, notes, and deadlines with minimal oversight.
• A fast-moving, low-ego mentality and the ability to pivot quickly based on performance or platform signals.
• A love of character-first, emotionally resonant storytelling that inspires, uplifts, and reflects real-life issues.

WHO OVERSEES YOU:

The Consulting Producer will report to Dhar Mann and work closely with the Showrunner and our CEO.
