Consulting Architect

We are seeking a Consulting Architect with deep expertise in platform engineering, Kubernetes, and AI solutions to help customers design, implement, and optimize open source solutions to support their business objectives. This role is not just about execution—you will have a high degree of autonomy to define direction, shape strategy, and influence the future of cutting-edge technologies.

As part of our next-generation innovation and strategy team, you will work on new and innovative products, helping customers adopt open source solutions for cloud infrastructure, AI, and cloud-native computing. You will engage in both pre-sales and post-sales consulting, guiding customers through complex technology decisions, presenting a compelling vision, and driving successful outcomes.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in uncertainty, takes risks, and challenges conventional thinking, all while working closely with customers to implement scalable, forward-thinking solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Strategic Customer Engagement & Pre-Sales:

  • Lead visionary discussions with customers, helping them navigate new and evolving open source technologies.

  • Define and shape the direction of Mirantis’ solutions, working closely with colleagues and leaders across the company to align with our strategy.

  • Build relationships with both technical and business audiences, translating emerging technologies into actionable strategies.

• Solution Delivery & Innovation:

  • Design, Implement, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud-native and AI/ML workloads in Kubernetes and public cloud environments.

  • Help customers scale infrastructure, modernize application architectures, and adopt next-generation AI and cloud solutions.

  • Deliver workshops, training, and enablement programs to accelerate customer adoption of new and emerging technologies.

  • Engage with open source communities, contribute to projects, and advocate for customer needs in upstream development.

• Proven experience in open source ecosystems (e.g., OpenStack, CNCF, LF AI & Data, OpenInfra).

• Expertise in Kubernetes and AI/ML platforms (e.g., Kubeflow, Ray, MLflow).

• Passion for emerging technologies, next-generation cloud strategies, and AI infrastructure.

• Strong ability to define direction, take ownership, and drive innovation in a rapidly evolving landscape.

• Hands-on experience with cloud automation, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Helm).

• Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence both engineers and executives.

• Experience in pre-sales, solutions architecture, or professional services with a consultative approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active contributions to open source projects, working groups, or governance bodies.

• Experience speaking at OpenStack Summit, KubeCon, AI Summit, or similar industry events.

• Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud strategies using open source technologies.
