We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our NHS client in Hove, Sussex. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start and will be based on a female inpatient ward.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality psychiatric care within an adult inpatient setting
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the multidisciplinary team
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
• Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and relevant clinical guidelines
• Participate in ward rounds, case conferences, and clinical audits

Qualifications & Experience

• Full GMC registration
• Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
• Extensive experience in Adult Psychiatry, particularly within inpatient and female ward settings
• Previous experience in a Consultant role within the NHS
