As a College Aid Services Consultant you will fill a variety of roles (e.g. financial aid director, assistant director, counselor, etc.) for a diverse group of institutions to manage Title IV aid, staffing, and operations on an interim basis.

Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years of director-level and leadership experience.   Candidates must have strong skillsets in utilizing Department of Education software and student information systems (i.e., Anthology/CampusVue, Banner, Colleague, PeopleSoft, PowerFAIDS, WorkDay, etc.). Strong written and oral communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners are required.



We are specifically looking for candidates to fill specific roles at client institutions in the state of Louisiana that utilize Ellucian Colleague. The assignment will be long-term and require travel every other week. 


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years experience in Financial Aid roles.
  • At least 5 years of FA director-level and leadership experience for Director level roles. Note we are also seeking candidates for all FA office positions. 
  • Experience using Ellucian Colleague.
  • College degree preferred although candidates with progressive experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency in federal regulations and compliance; experience with federal reporting requirements (e.g. FISAP, IPEDS, HEERF, etc.)
  • Highly detail oriented with strong ability to understand client needs and lead teams toward a common goal.
  • Strategic thinking and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate, develop and train staff.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidates with prior consulting experience.
  • Candidates with NASFAA professional credentials
  • Candidates with NASFAA FAAC® designation.
  • Candidates with a master's degree or a bachelor's degree and significant experience in financial aid/higher education positions.


Travel

The position will require travel of approximately 50% of the time (alternating one-week on-campus and one-week remote). Travel expenses will be reimbursed by College Aid Services, LLC.
