Overview of the role 

Euromonitor International’s Editorial team is seeking an experienced Python/AI developer with a focus on automation and generative AI. In this role, you will build and maintain Python applications that integrate large language models (LLMs) using frameworks like Writer AI and LangChain, while leveraging Azure cloud services to enhance content creation, publishing workflows, and data processes. 

We are looking for someone who thrives on the intersection of AI and automation, with strong Python skills, experience in data wrangling and RESTful APIs, and familiarity with cloud-native solutions to help deliver scalable tools that empower our Editorial team. 

Key responsibilities  

  • Develop AI-driven editorial tools using Writer AI and Python frameworks like LangChain
  • Build async workflows and RESTful APIs to support editorial system integration
  • Design ETL pipelines for automated data processing
  • Deploy Python apps using Azure Cloud services and other solutions
  • Manage content data with SQL, Azure Blob Storage or other cloud storage solutions
  • Collaborate with Editorial project managers to integrate AI models into the team’s workflows
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines with Azure Pipelines for automated testing and deployment

Requirements

Candidate Attributes 

  • Python Development: At least two years of Python hands-on experience, with strong proficiency in building AI solutions using frameworks like LangChain. Experience in asynchronous programming a plus
  • AI and LLM Integration: Prompt Engineering knowledge and practical experience integrating LLMs into real-world applications
  • Microsoft Office: Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Databases: Familiarity with both relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases, with the ability to write and execute queries effectively. Experience with RESTful APIs
  • Data Engineering: Experience designing and managing ETL workflows and data pipelines
  • Version Control: Familiarity with GIT version control
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Experience setting up automated build, test, and deployment workflows using Azure Pipelines or comparable tools an advantage
  • Cloud Solutions: Practical experience with key Cloud services, preferably Microsoft Azure, such as App Services, Blob Storage, and Machine Learning also desirable
  • Editorial: Understanding of content management and publishing workflows

Skills / Proficiencies required 

  • Advanced skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills for working with Editorial teams and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in agile environments and managing multiple projects independently
  • Knowledge of data visualisation in Editorial content an advantage

The salary range for this position is between €45,000 and €50,000 per annum gross.
