Construction Project Manager

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our humanoid robot, Figure 02, is designed for commercial tasks and the home. We are based in San Jose, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. It’s time to build.

This individual will be in charge of the end-to-end construction & maintenance of the customer environment replicas. This involves scheduling & managing trade contractors, procurement, and daily maintenance & inspection.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead design, construction, and execution of the build of our physical replicas of customer environments for robot training 
  • Coordinate with internal and external resources across electrical, mechanical, etc.
  • Determines material requirements, lead procurement, timelines, and team headcount planning
  • Ready to work and adapt in an ever-changing environment, where information may be ambiguous
  • Responsible for working with the Prototype/Fab teams as needed to create bespoke custom fabrications to enable the humanoid to achieve specific uses cases (i.e. a custom transportation rig if a customer hallway is especially narrow, etc)

Requirements: 

  • Degree in engineering, construction, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in project management, engineering, and commercial or residential construction
  • Ability to prioritize project objectives and coordinate multiple work streams

Bonus Qualifications: 

  • CAD, fabrication, or electrical experience

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $130,000 - $210,000 annually.

The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
