Construction Project Manager

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This role is responsible for overseeing workplace tenant improvements, landlord services, and building repositioning projects within a fast-paced environment. The position requires strong leadership, financial oversight, and the ability to manage complex project timelines and stakeholder relationships. This is an opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive project success while mentoring teams and ensuring high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle management of commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and financial forecasting to ensure profitability and performance
  • Oversee subcontractor selection, contract negotiations, and procurement processes
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project scope and execution
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and all project documentation
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining schedule and budget targets
  • Drive client communication and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle
  • Mentor and support junior project managers and project engineers
  • Ensure projects meet all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company expectations

Requirements

  • 12–15 years of experience in construction project management with a focus on commercial interiors
  • Strong experience with tenant improvements, workplace projects, and building repositioning
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and financial performance
  • Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and cross-functional project teams
  • Proficiency in project management and scheduling tools such as MS Project, Procore, or similar systems
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
