Construction Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead fast-track retail construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This role focuses heavily on multi-site rollouts, tight timelines, and high-volume project delivery, requiring strong coordination across subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. The position supports a general contractor specializing in retail and tenant improvement projects with aggressive schedules and repeat clients. This is a strong fit for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient execution
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Track project financials, including change orders, billing, and cost control
• Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality standards
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation throughout the lifecycle
• Communicate project updates with clients, leadership, and stakeholders
• Identify and resolve project risks, delays, and field-related challenges
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients

Requirements

5+ years of experience in construction project management

Experience working for a general contractor on commercial projects

Strong understanding of ground-up construction and/or interior build-outs

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractors

Familiarity with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
