Construction Project Manager

We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to support civil and site development construction projects from planning through completion. This role focuses on keeping projects organized, solving problems as they arise, and ensuring work progresses on schedule. The position works closely with engineers, field teams, subcontractors, and leadership to coordinate project execution and maintain strong communication across the team. This opportunity is well suited for someone early in their project management career who wants to grow within a civil construction environment and contribute to long-term company growth.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of civil and site development construction projects from planning through completion
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects moving forward
• Assist with maintaining project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking
• Review construction drawings, engineering plans, and specifications to support project execution
• Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Participate in project meetings and communicate updates on progress, risks, and next steps
• Monitor field progress and help resolve issues that could impact schedule or scope
• Work with leadership and field teams to identify practical solutions to construction challenges
• Help maintain project organization, documentation, and coordination across multiple stakeholders

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in construction project management, engineering, or related project coordination roles
• Experience supporting civil construction, site development, or infrastructure-related projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, engineering plans, and specifications
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or progress toward licensure strongly preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to keep projects moving forward under changing conditions
• Effective communication skills working with engineers, subcontractors, and field teams
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
