  • Manage assigned components of a construction project to ensure contractor compliance with plans and contract requirements, including oversight of personnel, inspection activities, materials testing and quality control, project documentation, budgeting, scheduling, and general contract administration under the direction of senior construction leadership.
  • Support senior construction leadership by managing designated project tasks and responsibilities.
  • Provide technical consultation, field investigations, evaluations, and written reports as assigned.
  • Analyze and interpret project plans, specifications, and contract language to confirm constructability.
  • Identify design inconsistencies and assess impacts on both the agency and contractor.
  • Review project documentation for compliance with required standards and direct corrective actions when necessary.
  • Make recommendations regarding partial and final contractor payments.
  • Monitor project budgets and schedules, recommending adjustments as needed.
  • Supervise and mentor project staff, reviewing work products for adherence to required procedures and standards.
  • Lead pre-construction meetings, utility coordination meetings, progress meetings, and other project-related discussions.
  • Prepare project correspondence and review recommendations submitted by project staff.
  • Recommend solutions for field-related construction issues and design modifications.
  • Prepare and review work orders, including independent construction cost estimates and time-impact analyses.
  • Coordinate with design teams, materials specialists, environmental and traffic staff, right-of-way personnel, the public, and other stakeholders to maintain project schedule and compliance with requirements.
