Position Summary
The Construction Intern supports the Construction and Facilities team in the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale industrial construction projects. This role provides hands-on exposure to site operations, project management, safety compliance, and scheduling within a fast-paced advanced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist project managers and superintendents with daily construction activities and site coordination
- Support tracking of project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Help review construction drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Conduct site walks to document progress, safety compliance, and quality standards
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal engineering teams
- Assist in preparing reports, meeting notes, and project updates
- Support inventory tracking of materials and equipment deliveries
- Ensure adherence to OSHA and company safety standards at all times
Learning Opportunities
- Exposure to large-scale industrial or battery manufacturing facility construction
- Hands-on experience with construction project management tools and processes
- Understanding of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical coordination

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a field-based construction environment
- Basic understanding of construction drawings and project documentation preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work in a team-oriented environment
