POSITION SUMMARY 

We are seeking a Construction General Laborer with hands-on experience operating manlifts and aerial work platforms. This role supports a variety of on-site construction activities, particularly work performed at elevated heights and general site tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-oriented, and able to assist multiple trades throughout different stages of construction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely operate manlifts to support crews working at elevated heights.
  • Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues.
  • Assist with general site clean-up and debris removal.
  • Help move, load, and stage materials as directed.
  • Support construction crews with basic tasks as needed.
  • Follow all jobsite safety rules and instructions from supervisors.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience operating manlifts (preferred - not required)
  • Knowledge of jobsite safety practices and fall protection standards.
  • Ability to work at heights for extended periods.
  • Basic construction knowledge, including use of tools, equipment, and jobsite materials.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work with a team.


WORK AUTHORIZATION

All prospective Impact Housing employees need to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S. 


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Hourly pay of $18.00 - $20.00 - depending on experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in elevated positions, varied weather, and active construction environments.
