This role requires deep Conga CPQ expertise combined with strong Salesforce Sales Cloud architecture experience, as CPQ design decisions directly impact core CRM data structures and automation.
Information Security Responsibilities
Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Roles & Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end architecture of the Conga CPQ solution within Salesforce Sales Cloud.
Define and govern scalable Quote-to-Cash (QTC) design including product modeling, pricing strategies, discount frameworks, approval hierarchies, amendments, and renewals.
Architect complex product bundles, pricing matrices, constraint rules, and enterprise-level configuration strategies.
Ensure optimal alignment between CPQ architecture and Salesforce Sales Cloud data model (Accounts, Opportunities, Quotes, Orders).
Define automation strategy using Flows, Apex, and scalable design patterns while maintaining system performance and maintainability.
Establish architectural guardrails, design standards, and governance for CPQ configurations and customizations.
Lead solution workshops with business stakeholders and translate requirements into scalable technical designs.
Serve as the escalation point for critical production issues impacting pricing, quoting, or revenue processes.
Conduct performance optimization and health assessments of the CPQ implementation.
Define and oversee integration architecture between Salesforce/Conga and external systems using API-led and event-driven patterns.
Mentor developers and admins, conduct design/code reviews, and ensure delivery quality across global teams.
Proactively identify technical debt and recommend modernization strategies to improve stability and scalability.
Required Expertise
8+ years of Salesforce platform experience with deep focus on Sales Cloud architecture.
5+ years of hands-on Conga CPQ architecture experience in enterprise environments.
Strong mastery of complex product configuration, pricing rules, discounting logic, and approval frameworks.
Deep understanding of end-to-end Quote-to-Cash lifecycle and revenue-impacting processes.
Strong expertise in Salesforce data modeling, automation (Flows, Apex), and performance optimization.
Advanced knowledge of enterprise integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, async processing, data synchronization strategies).
Experience supporting high-volume quoting environments with performance and scalability considerations.
Ability to engage with executive and business stakeholders and articulate architectural decisions clearly.
Experience operating within global delivery models (NA + India Team collaboration).
Salesforce Architect certifications and Conga CPQ certification preferred.
