In this position you will oversee, direct and lead the production staff to achieve production targets while maintaining a safe and efficient operation and producing products to meet AHEAD’s established quality standards  *Please note: our 1st shift hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm Responsibilities
  • Oversee all departmental activities and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws.   
  • Oversee and maintain production equipment, automated systems, and digital manufacturing tools. 
  • Supervise the daily activities of a team responsible for hardware configuration and physical setup. 
  • Lead technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for equipment and process failures. 
  • Develop, implement, and update SOPs for technical processes and equipment operation. 
  • Train production staff on technical procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols. 
  • Monitor and report on technical metrics, including efficiency, downtime, and quality. 
  • Ensure compliance with technical standards, regulatory requirements, and equipment calibration. 
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams on projects, resolving issues and improving processes. 
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and drive process optimization. 
  • Resolve employee issues, ensure positive employee relations, and promote and enforce all company policies fairly and consistently. 
  • Reviews production schedules, material and manpower resources and coordinates daily production activities to meet business objectives. 
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proven experience in supervising technical or operations teams. 
  • Strong understanding of data center hardware (switches, servers, routers, PDUs, etc.). 
  • Familiarity with gas handling procedures (PG-25 loading, nitrogen purging). 
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely. 
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. 
  • Education and Experience 
  • Minimum Required 
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent or 3-5 years in an assembly manufacturing environment. 
  • Ability to manage, train, and develop employees. 
  • Ability to resolve conflicts, meet deadlines, manage production activities, and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proven experience making day-to-day decisions that affect the overall quality of products and processes. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Preferred 
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in a supervisor role 
  • Experience with data center or lab environments 
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. 
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

    The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
