As a Computer Repair Technician, you’ll be hands-on diagnosing and repairing devices while meeting manufacturer quality standards and performance goals. Your first 90 days will be focused on getting certified, building confidence across devices, and hitting repair benchmarks—all while working alongside a collaborative, supportive team.

What You'll Do:
Diagnose and repair laptops, desktops, tablets, and iPhones in line with manufacturer quality and efficiency standards.
Meet repair quality, volume, and turnaround time KPIs, especially during your first 90 days.
Reinstall operating systems and adjust software settings to resolve device issues.
Perform hardware and software repairs that meet manufacturer and client performance metrics.
Earn and maintain required certifications (Apple, Lenovo, HP, Dell, and others as needed).
Research service guides and specifications to determine correct machine settings.
Accurately document repairs, device statuses, and service details in internal systems.
Track devices and parts throughout the repair process, including ordering parts as needed.
Maintain organized part storage for repairs in progress.
Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and escalate discrepancies when identified.
Collaborate with teammates and technical leads to troubleshoot issues and share best practices.
Communicate with manufacturer service teams to resolve repair-related issues.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation aligned with company and manufacturer standards.
Learn and adopt new tools, processes, and procedures as repair standards evolve.
Engage with vendors, customers, and team members with a positive, professional attitude.
Support broader department needs and take on additional duties as assigned by leadership.
What You'll Bring:
2+ years of hands-on experience repairing laptops, desktops, tablets, and/or iPhones.
At least one relevant certification (CompTIA A+ preferred, ACMT, ACiT, Lenovo, HP, Dell, Toshiba, or similar).
A commitment to staying current on technology, tools, procedures, and manufacturer training.
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality repair work.
Comfort with both written and verbal communication.
Reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, or Google Suite.
A collaborative mindset and willingness to support teammates and team goals.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a consistent basis.
