Description

Vamonos IT is seeking a dynamic, analytical, and forward-thinking Computer and Information Systems Manager (Junior) to join our fast-growing technology team. As a key contributor to our IT operations, you will help ensure the seamless functioning of our systems and support the ambitious digital strategies that drive our business. Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and directing computer-related activities within Vamonos IT.
• Support the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and security of all desktop, server, and network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with senior IT managers to streamline system processes and ensure operational efficiency.
• Participate in the assessment and selection of new technologies relevant to organizational needs.
• Help establish IT policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, privacy, and security across all platforms.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, escalating complex problems when necessary.
• Contribute to IT project management, including resource allocation, scheduling, and documentation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to staff, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and trends, recommending improvements and upgrades as appropriate.
• Participate in regular audits of IT assets and systems.
• Support internal Vamonos IT initiatives and operations as needed.
• Support the Vamonos IT business development initiatives and team.
• Engage/complete continuing education/certification processes as prescribed by customer and/or Vamonos IT.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
• 0-3 years of experience in IT management, systems administration, or related support roles.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT systems, networks, and security protocols.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, and modern IT infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or similar are considered an asset.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
• Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks and principles.
• Familiarity with agile development and DevOps concepts.
• Ability to document processes and communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
