Role Description
ICEYE is seeking a Composite Manufacturing and Test Engineer to join our aircraft development team in Valencia, Spain, as part of the High Altitude Pseudo-Satellite (HAPS) program.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a pioneering aerospace project, pushing the limits of ultra-lightweight, high-altitude, long-endurance flight. You will play a key role in developing and validating advanced composite structures critical to the performance and reliability of ICEYE’s stratospheric aircraft.
As a Composite Manufacturing and Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, execution, and analysis of composite material tests, as well as the definition and optimization of laminate configurations used in the HAPS structure.
You will contribute directly to the realization of innovative aerospace structures made of carbon fiber prepreg materials, ensuring performance, manufacturability, and durability. Your work will involve hands-on testing, data analysis, and close collaboration with design, structural analysis, and systems teams.
This role sits at the intersection of materials science, structural engineering, and manufacturing.
