Compliance and Regulatory Analyst

Overall summary: 

We are looking for a financial analyst who is preparing the regulatory reporting to FCA, prepare statutory financial statements according to IRFS for the UK, Ireland, Netherland and support the audits. Besides these support the UK, Irealnd team in the monthly closing processes. Prepare board presentaion for the UK board meeting. Assist to keep the control effectiveness and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring control effectiveness and efficiency

• Execute existing monthly controls (e.g. reconciliations)
• Provide high quality proofs of documentation
• Assist in ATM stock control
• Improve and execute invoicing control

Internal and external audit support

• Prepare regulatory reporting
• Prepare statutory financial statements
• Manage internal audit processes for the branches
• Participation in data / document collection required for internal and external audits
• Review of documents collected for internal or external audit purposes
• Perform own checks/controls if needed
• Identify points for improvement or harmonisation and propose solutions
• Improve documentation: prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manuals related to the audit process
• Ad hoc tasks

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Finance within a multinational organizationor or audit company
• Experience with financial procedures at a multinational company
• External or internal audit/control experience
• Fluent English
• Ability to deal with ambiguity
• Structural thinking, good writing skills, ability to create flow charts
• Good analytical skills
• Flexibility and reliability
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Result-oriented personality with excellent team working skills
• Pro-active thinking
• Ability to work independently
• Experience in working with people of different cultures
