Competitive Intelligence Intern

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our team as a Competitive Intelligence Intern. This OJT role is designed to provide hands-on experience in gathering, analyzing, and distributing competitive insights to support strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will develop key skills in research, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration while contributing to real projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Research and Data Collection: Dive into competitor research, gather information on product features, pricing, and customer feedback, and identify common objections.
2. Define Key Messaging: Assist in crafting key product messages that set us apart and draft responses to address common customer objections.
3. Competitive Comparison Table: Help create comparison tables that showcase Jobstreet’s product’s strengths and advantages.
4. Objection Handling and FAQs: Develop clear, evidence-based responses to frequently encountered objections.
5. SWOT Analysis: Conduct SWOT analyses to highlight competitors’ strengths and identify Jobstreet’s product advantages.
6. Validate Information: Ensure data accuracy by collaborating with sales and cross-checking information.
7. Team Training Support: Assist in training teams on competitive tools and contribute to feedback sessions to refine strategies.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

• Market Research: Expertise in gathering and analyzing competitor data.
• Data and Comparative Analysis: Ability to assess and compare product features, pricing, and customer feedback.
• Written Communication: Strong skills in crafting clear and concise messaging.
• Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: Advanced skills, particularly in Excel for data analysis.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to develop solutions to address customer objections and refine strategies.
• Effective Presentation Abilities: Capable of presenting data and insights clearly to cross-functional teams.
